  • Who Should Attend
    • This training is required by the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for all employees of county alcohol and drug abuse authorities who provide Medicaid Targeted Case Management (TCM) services. Providers of TCM must possess a baccalaureate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a health or human services field and have documentation of at least one year of experience working with substance use disorder clients; AND have completed 20 hours of orientation required by SCDHHS prior to rendering any services. (RBHS Provider Manual, pp. 2-38, 39)

    • This training will make use of lecture, case studies, and group activities to enhance the participants’ abilities to provide, oversee, or audit the delivery of Medicaid TCM services.

    • Registration is limited to 30 participants. Cancellations must be made in writing and received at least two working days prior  to the training event. Substitute attendees are permitted.
