    • All supervisors, supporters, managers, and mentors of Peer Support Specialists and Recovery Coaches are strongly encouraged to attend this training and to be part of this DAODAS-sponsored working group that will meet on a quarterly basis.
  • Description
    • This training will focus on SC FAVOR’s Certified Peer Support Specialist training curriculum and experience in order to give supervisors and supporters of certified individuals important perspective related to their work with peer recovery services. Participants will share concerns, ideas, and best practices to address issues that affect their patients, participants, families, and communities. DAODAS is committed to establishing and enhancing delivery of recovery services through effective and evidence-based supervision and support for Peer Support Specialists and Recovery Coaches. Participation in these ongoing trainings and working groups ensures that the unique needs of agencies’ diverse communities are reflected in South Carolina’s Recovery-Oriented Systems of Care delivery practice, advocacy efforts, and policy discussions.
