REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 30 PARTICIPANTS.
Description
This is a safe space where participants will learn about systematic risk factors and statistics of members of the LGBTQ+ community and why it is imperative that they are affirming and inclusive in the work they do. Participants will also learn about the importance of language, understanding, and affirmation of individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Attendees will be engaged around various concepts such as intersectionality and its effects on this community. Participants should come prepared to experience safe vulnerability and to learn from one another.
