Job Description:
Works with external partner agencies who utilize FAVOR Upstate as a vendor for peer support services. Primarily responsible for the integration of Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) into existing workflows of partner agencies, and the ongoing supervision of those CPSS teams. Works directly with partner agencies' human resource, legal, credentialing, and information technology systems, etc., to make sure the onboarding process occurs as quickly and efficiently as possible. Responsible for the ongoing personnel management and CPSS supervision for the teams.

Job Responsibilities:
Hire, manage, and supervise partner-based peers:
Conduct weekly meetings with all team members to process cases, check in on emotional/mental status of team members and provide unity and support for a team.
Meet with partner-based supervisors monthly to check on status of peers, teams, and any situations occurring in the partner-based settings.
Co-create, manage, and deliver ongoing hybrid training opportunities monthly and quarterly with partners. Create agendas, verify availability of speakers, and be available to participate in trainings as a teacher and a collaborator.
Collaborate with and deepen relationships with recovery-based organizations and entities throughout South Carolina:
Attend monthly Statewide Peer RCO and ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) meetings to receive education and stay abreast of resources and network.
Provide research assistance.
Gather data and offer technical support for existing and new grant opportunities.
Provide effective leadership and team management:
Lead and motivate a department of professionals by managing employee performance, providing coaching and mentoring for growth and improved performance, and ensuring professional development opportunities are available to support employee goals and interests.
Provide support as necessary and on demand for partner-based peers.
Manage team's business needs (payroll, expenses, budgets, etc.).
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Personal lived experience with a substance use disorder.
Three to five years of business management and personnel experience.
CPSS certification, with emphasis on motivational interviewing.
Ability to prioritize effectively, learn systems quickly, and utilize them to research and solve problems independently.
Proven knowledge of current trends and best practices in the field of peer support with comparable recovery community organizations.
An understanding of how to utilize social media to connect with peers, drive awareness, and manage involvement with participants.
Experience using data systems/electronic records in planning and evaluation.
Experience with electronic medical record systems and technology platforms to execute peer service strategies.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to quickly and thoroughly learn and use any other software programs needed in the operations of FAVOR Upstate, including but not limited to RecoveryLink, EPIC and RedCap.

Preferred Qualifications:
Medical experience.
Experience in a peer support setting.
