Reports directly to FAVOR Upstate’s Senior Program Director.
Provides direct supervision, oversight, and support to a maximum of six staff members in their delivery of services.
Provides support and mentorship for staff development, meeting individually and “flexibly” with staff as needed.
Provides necessary level of staff support to ensure quality work.
Maintains personal job responsibilities in addition to leadership responsibilities. (Maintains a caseload of recovery coaching cases, leads Assistance in Recovery [AiR] events, facilitates groups, mentors volunteers, etc.)
Assumes responsibility for leading the day-to-day Spartanburg Center program services.
Assumes responsibility for leading the administration of All Recovery meetings.
Assumes responsibility for leading intake, triage, and recovery coaching support services.
Assumes responsibility for leading Recovery Link practices and all program recordkeeping needs.
Assumes responsibility for leading the planning and facilitation of Spartanburg AiR events.
Assumes responsibility for leading the Spartanburg volunteer coaching program.
NOTE: These are the minimum duty requests. Individual may be asked to perform additional position duties as assigned by their supervisor.
From or currently residing in Spartanburg County (not a must if willing to drive and/or relocate).
Lived experience in recovery and/or family recovery.
Certified Peer Support Specialist training.
Professional experience delivering peer recovery support services.
Experience managing other people in a work setting.
Willing to work primarily away from home. (This is not a work-from-home position.)
