Grants Awarded to DAODAS
The federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has designated DAODAS as the Single State Agency responsible for overseeing the state’s Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant (SABG). In addition, DAODAS is currently funding programs through the following grants:
- American Rescue Plan Act Supplement to the SABG
- Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-Based Program Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice
- COVID-19 Crisis Response Initiative Sub-Grant from the S.C. Department of Mental Health
- COVID Response and Relief Supplement to the SABG
- COVID-19 Mitigation and Testing Efforts Allotment of the SABG
- Prevent Prescription Drug/Opioid Overdose-Related Deaths Grant from SAMHSA
- Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) Grant from SAMHSA
