Job Description:
Collaborates with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, encourages recovery-oriented goals, and supports clients in achieving sobriety and wellness. Also performs case coordination and referral to community resources as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conducts biopsychosocial assessments and substance use evaluations to determine client needs.
• Develops individualized treatment and recovery plans in collaboration with clients.
• Provides individual, group, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, MI).
• Facilitates educational sessions on substance use, relapse prevention, coping skills, and life skills.
• Monitors client progress and makes appropriate modifications to treatment plans.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with licensing and funding requirements.
• Coordinates care and referrals with medical providers, case managers, peer support specialists, and other service partners.
• Participates in clinical staffing, supervision, and continuing education as required.
• Supports crisis intervention efforts and assists in treatment planning for high-risk clients.
• Provides culturally competent services and advocates for client recovery in a nonjudgmental and trauma-informed manner.

Required Qualifications:
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Addiction Studies, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Knowledge of addiction treatment models and recovery supports
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards
• Experience working with diverse populations and co-occurring disorders

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree
• Licensure as an ADC or AADC
• A minimum of one to two years of experience in substance use counseling or a behavioral health setting
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications
